Care Assessment

The care assessment focuses on the outcomes you wish to achieve.

Your assessment allows us to develop a thorough understanding of your desires as well as your physical and medical needs:

• We offer an initial assessment at no cost, so you can get to know how Westcott works
• It is carried out by your own Care Consultant
• If necessary, they will coordinate with other specialists/professionals who might already be involved in your health and care
• It is typically carried out in your own home, or wherever is convenient for you
• We can include family members or other relevant people in the discussions, as necessary

Our assessments are carried out with you in mind.

Regardless of whether or not you go on to use any of Westcott’s other services, the results of our independent evaluation will assist you in understanding your care requirements and provide you with a detailed, personal support plan. This can help you to identify the right type of elderly care provider (for example live in care, home care, residential care or nursing homes) to meet your particular requirements.
