Hertfordshire, 2nd April 2014 – Westcott Care Advisory Services, the independent elderly care advice specialist, is delighted to announce that its Chief Executive, Andrew Whelan, is to be featured in an ITV1 Tonight programme dedicated to elderly care.
Presented by News at Ten’s Julie Etchingham, the Tonight programme is a combination of human-interest current affairs and investigative journalism. ‘Looking After Mum and Dad’ explores the daily lives and challenges of a typical family where it is becoming apparent that an elderly relative can no longer cope on their own. With younger children who are also clamouring for attention and resources, mum and dad are in the middle of it all trying to do the best for their past and their future.
The programme is due to air on Thursday 3rd April 2014 at 7.30pm.
Westcott’s CEO, Andrew Whelan said:
“It was an honour to be invited to participate in the programme. I know from my own family’s experience how difficult it can be to determine the right level of support and find a suitable organisation to provide it. Care requirements are personal and require tailored solutions. There are a wealth of care providers offering a variety of services. Choosing the right one can be challenging and extremely emotional. Hopefully this programme will help to raise awareness of the crucial role Independent Care Advisers like Westcott can play in finding and arranging the right care at the right time for those in need.”
